Time on Ground football academy with AFL Level 3 coaches - Tom Perrett and Jacob Spolding are running the annual school holiday session for our junior football players.  There will be 4 allocated sessions on the day, these being U12 boys, female juniors (12's-16's), U14 boys & U16 boys. This will be a 50-60 minute skill session and is a great compliment to your age level coaching program. All U17 players and families are welcome to have dinner at the clubrooms between 6-8pm this Thursday. To help the kitchen plan for the night, can you please purchase a ticket (free) indicating how many people will be coming. Please get together all your team mates to come along on Thursday.  

We invite all our valued Past Players & Officials from our football and netball sections to join us for a day of fun and reminiscing. We will kick off in the rooms from 12pm, $18 cover charge includes a drink on arrival and finger food during the day. RSVP essential for catering purposes. We will have a panel of Past Players assembled for a bit of healthy debate on a variety of topics, which is sure to keep us entertained. We will also be celebrating our 2014 Reserves Premiership.

With so many struggling with their mental health these days, I have started running live events to share my experiences. I talk about fighting through adversities and techniques I have used to get through some dark times.  My aim is to ignite inspiration, encouraging individuals to persist and never give up no matter how bad circumstances get, sharing my lived experiences.

Read the Play (RTP) is excited to once again provide South Barwon with a free mental health and wellbeing education session.  This year we will deliver the Huddle Up program to our U/16 female football team.   The club will be providing some light catering and drinks for the session participants. This will be held in the club social rooms space.
